Donate a blanket to the homeless animals at Happy Paws Farm. The Humane Society at HappyPaws Farm in Arlington Washington is a no-kill non-profit animal shelter that was established in 1997. It is situated on a 7 acre farm. Our main mission is to save old disabled and sick dogs that other shelters would euthanize. Our dogs live in horse barns which are difficult to heat adequately and so our dogs need warm blankets. We also have a program where we work with homeless people with dogs. The human shelters do not allow the homeless with dogs into their shelters. Many times these homeless people will not give up their dogs who are their protection and warmth and so they stay on the streets in all kinds of weather. We also need blankets for these people and their dogs. At our dog food bank for the low income we also come across people who need blankets as well.
