Sulsila which means The Grandparents and signifies a Coast Salish welcome was commissioned by and hangs in the Vancouver International Airport. The original blanket measures an immense 16 x 6 feet. Kanata has been licenced to reproduce this blanket as an Italian jacquard wool blanket capturing the richness of color and design of the original. Bordered with a double stitched hand-sewn complementary felt edging and then hand trimmed for the ultimate finished look.
