Here are some great ideas for your custom woven product- baby pictures; loved pets; wedding pictures; cherished events; precious memories captured in photos. You can use any photo you would like - but remember that the better the photo the better the finished product.

We have a few suggestions listed below-

SIZE- We prefer photos larger than 5x7. For digital photographs please make sure that they were taken by a 1 megapixel or better camera. The MINIMUM size for the image is 1280x960 or 1 megapixel.

CONTRAST- A high contrast photo works the best. A black dog on a black couch in a dark room will not yield the best results. Conversely a white dog in the snow will not work well either. If your main subject is brightly lit and the background is somewhat dark the results will be brilliant! Please avoid dark shadows on the face or subject.

FOCUS- Make sure your subject is sharp. The better the focus the better the final piece will be.

COLOR- We can use black and white or color.

COMPOSITION- Keep it simple. Make sure that your subject occupies 60-80% of the photo. This is not an absolute necessity but it will make for a better finished piece.

The image and/or border is not printed on. It is actually woven into the throw or tapestry and will not fade.

You will be contacted after placing your order to obtain your photograph. Your credit card will not be charged until your photo is received by us and we verify the photo will make a product with a good result. If you don't want to wait for our email you can email your image to us at customerservice@blankets.com in a JPG or TIFF format with a maximum file size of 9MB or the maximum your ISP/Mail Service will allow whichever is smaller. A paper image; CD; SD or Compact Flash card or floppy disk can be mailed to- Blankets.com; 14150 NE 20th Street #374; Bellevue; WA 98007. We will return any item mailed to us via USPS Priority Mail. (Not responsible for any items lost in the mail!!)
